Relax....please...

I don't know why but sometimes I take changes quite badly. I stress myself too much about stupid things. I am having just a change at work and let me tell ya, I feel drained after each day at work. I just don't have fun somehow anymore.

When these time come, there come times when I have to take care of myself a little bit more. Making sure I exercise a little (at least have some kind of movement), take more vitamin C (as we are in need more of it while having stress) and mostly having a nice cup of tea and bath.

Bath just can me make so happy somehow. Pathetic maybe, but it just helps me to just forget about thinking too much.

I love bath salts. Currently I am using Champneys Spa Treatments Mineral Detox Bath salts which reminds me of a nice mens cologne which is completely ok with me to have a relax. Next I am liking Aveda Stress-fix soaking salts which are specifically perfect for me with proven releasing feeling of stress.

I have made a little order to try even bath oil from Jo Malone, will definitely do a blogpost for you about that one as I am so curious if splurging on a bath oil is worth it.

Definitely there is also Lush on my list, but so far I am starting slowly stocking up. Slowly. There will be a better time when the special scents and bath bombs will come back. Can't wait.

What is your way to be stress free?

Lush hair care routine...again?

There was a time when I was obsessed with Lush. After every pay day my go-to store was Lush. Always spent few tens of pounds and was coming back for my bath products, face masks and hair products.

That feels like ages ago. These few weeks to months I felt good, no temptation to even have a look in there. I was always bravely passing by not even interested in looking. Well, that ended.

Me and my friend Lauren went just to have a look as the cooler moths started and I was in big need of some bath products. I looked even to the hair department and when I saw my previously loved Jungle conditioner, I somehow couldn't resist. The smell (quite weird at the beginning to me) such special that I just had to get it. Anyway I didn't have any conditioner, so why not.

After my first use of the conditioner, I just knew how much I was missing it. The next day I went to but my favourite New shampoo and Marilyn Hair treatment.

First I am using the Marilyn treatment which I apply to dry hair and leave for roughly 20-30 minutes. It is very very light even though claiming to contain even olive oil. Who knew.... Marilyn helps to make blonde hair nice, shinier and blonder whether you are bleached or natural blonde. I love it as it brightens my hair even in winter months when it normally gets a little bit darker.

Next I am using my solid New shampoo which is quite a funny idea of solid shampoo but it lasts for ages and really does the job done without stripping the hair out. I just rub it against wet hair. It is my favourite one from Lush and claiming to help with hair growth, I just must love it even more.

Jungle conditioner is the last, but definitely not the least. Again, rubbing against the hair in the end and leave for few seconds leaving hair hydrated my definitely not weighted down which is mostly my main concern while having long hair.

Lush got me back. Well, at least my hair. If you have a chance, definitely try this not really normal-ish hair products.

Origins Eye doctor Moisture care for skin around eyes

Eye area is the area of first signs of everything. Tiredness, ageing, dehydration... Past few months I have noticed a lot of dehydration lines around my eyes. As first in my mind I thought, sh*t, I am having wrinkles at the age of 25, great. But learning more about skincare and how it reacts, I found out that those are dehydration lines and I can help with them.

There is always so many products for your eye area, but mostly they will help with dark circles and then right away helping with lines and wrinkles. Two options I found was La roche-posay hydra phase intense eye, which is a very light gel helping with dehydration. Good for summer.

But I wanted something that feels like it actually does something amazing. I think I found it. I tend to look into Origins products as most of them are loved by people who tried them (very small percentage is not happy with them) and they are super conscious of what ingredients they are putting in.

No mineral oil. No parabens. No paraffin and animal ingredients.

When we are in the times we can choose what we put in our bodies and on them, I thought to really do a step up in my skincare routine is to go more natural.

And I love the change.

This eye cream called Eye doctor is amazing. With texture of gel-cream and scent of cucumber (which isn't my favourite but somehow is great) it really does hydrate, sinks in very quickly and even after me piling on a kilo of a concealer, the skin is still looking great. I think I found my holy grail eye cream.

Check it out. If you are in need of hydrating eye cream. Want something without all the nasties. Something that moisturises and hydrates but doesn't take an hour to sink in. You are on a right address here.

Retails for £27.

Have you tried any Origins products? What is your verdict?

Clinique Even better compact makeup SPF15

I was craving big time to get a compact foundation. My eyes were right away drawn to Channel Vitalumiere Aqua as I loved their liquid version. Well, when trying it on the counter, few colours didn't really give me an option to even choose one that could work and when at least we tried one, it just wasn't right.

I wasn't the happiest bunny ever as, well, I really wanted that compact foundation. Luckily, I wasn't crying the river for long. My sadness stopped when I found that Clinique is doing a compact foundation that is giving you an option of 20 different shades which makes the decision making so much easier.

The colours are great, the texture feels amazing. As we are going more into cooler months, I thought this is the right time to use it and I was right.

Wonderful coverage without feeling to caky and no powder setting is required. My skin doesn't get oily without setting after whole day at work, which literally never happened. It is the easiest product to use to get flawless finish and even skintone.

I am having shade alabaster (02) which is the second lightest with rather yellow to neutral undertones which works best for me as I don't like pinky undertones (making me look too pink).

PS: Of course another plus SPF 15- great for everyday (if used in winter months, still having protection;) )

Have you ever tried a compact cream foundation? Any favourites? Let me know:)

Clinique Bonus time FENWICK 19 Sept-5 Oct 2013

If you are not familiar with Fenwick it is lovely set of family stores which are different to your normal busy, stressful kind of shopping. The environment is calmer, soothing and shopping is then much more fun. I like the one on New Bond street which is just street away from the busy Oxford street (when you turn in between Next and Zara "down" you will find it). Even British beauty blogger talked about them....but anyways, what I wanted to share with you,

Clinique counters in Fenwick are having a Bonus time gift when you purchase 2 products, one to be skincare and let me just say that you are getting a very nice gift:

MILD LIQUID FACIAL SOAP 50ml
- oil-fee cleanser for dry combination skin, which leaves skin feel clean, but because of hyaluronic acid maintaining moisture balance

HIGH IMPACT CURLING MASCARA 2.5ml
- long-wearing mascara which lasts up to 24 hours providing dramatic curl & volume to the lashes
- water-resistant, smudge, flake, smear-resistant
- micronized fibers add length

BLUSHING BLUSH in PRECIOUS POSY 3.1g
- non-acnegenic, oil-free, with really good pigmentation (and love the colour:))

ALMOST LIPSTICK in FLIRTY HONEY
- sheer lip colour with glossy finish (comparable to your Baby lips)

REPAIRWEAR UPLIFTING FIRMING CREAM (for dry combination to combination oily- everybody except for dry skin) 15ml
- this is an anti-ageing moisturiser, that is treating lines, wrinkles and lifts, that will be better for my mum

REPAIRWEAR LASER FOCUS WRINKLE CORRECTING EYE CREAM 5ml
- I have one of these before and really like it. It helps with our active lines, so when we are smiling and the lines that we have then. Definitely helped a lot. I am probably most excited about this particular product...clinical claim: 54% less active lines in 12 weeks. Well, that's a proper claim:)

TAKE THE DAY OFF makeup remover for LIDS, LASHES & LIPS 50ml
- the best eye makeup remover I have tried. Perfect size for travelling. Removes waterproof makeup, everything, while being gentle, no blurry eyes after using.

NOTD: Clinique Different Nail enamel in Black honey

I was never the biggest fan of summer, but this year it just somehow makes me feel so excited about getting colder. Wearing sweaters, burning candles and drinking warm teas and coffees just somehow feels so comforting and makes me wanna do shopping for Christmas somehow...?

But it doesn't end there. Makeup trends are changing, going for more coverage foundations, darker lips and don't forget the nails.

I have applied my new favourite dark red nail colour that I got recently and I am in love. I am talking about Clinique a different Nail enamel for sensitive skins in Black honey. Clinique really  impressed me with the texture and easy application of thinner layers which dry super QUICKLY. And don't forget that it is for sensitive skins. So if you get reactions either on your skin or eye area from wearing a nailpolish, this might be your solution.

With this particular colour I recommend applying two coats as with only one coats you are getting rather an ombre look.

So, let me just say, Oh, FALL, welcome :)

Best dupe for Bioderma Sensibio H20 : L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in1 Purifying Micellar Solution

I am sure that if you are a beauty lover you have already heard about this wonderful dupe for Bioderma cleansing water. Well, I just couldn't help myself and as I already repurchased this
L'oreal Paris Skin perfecion 3 in 1 Purifying micellar solution and definitely gained an opinion.

If you are not familiar with the Bioderma cleansing water, it is very much loved, considered as a best of best cleansing waters. Make-up artists are using her on fashion shows and it is known for being so gentle that it doesn't irritate any kind of skin.

When I have seen the L'oreal version I was right away drawn to it. We have seen few brands coming up with cleansing waters, but this one with all the time being on offers, it was just too tempting. So what is it? It is a hypo-allergenic cleanser for face, eyes and lips, as well as bioderma suitable for sensitive skin.
It does dissolve makeup, unlogs pores and removes impurities while soothing the skin.

As I found, the "micellar! solution acts like a purifying magnet on the skin's surface to capture and draw out excess oil and impurities rather than spreading them around (as certain cleansers or wipes do).

So the funny part? It smells and feels on the skin completely like Bioderma. Having the same results (for some, even better) I will definitely buy only the L'oreal version.

Even though it is much appreciated from my side, I tend to grab it in those nights when I am super lazy using my cleansing oils or balms. Super easy and quick.

Recommended 100%.

Lancome Hypnose Doll eyes Fraicheur rosée 5 colour palette

I think I will ever have enough of eyeshadows. And I will definitely always go for very similar ones.

What I love about this palette though is that it is nude palette with having a little bit baby pink and very dark purple shade, which makes it perfect for transformations from day to night looks.

I had my eye on these for quite a while as the palettes look amazing and I am so pleased with this one. All of the shades are shimmery so if you don't like shimmer, then this will not be for you, but as I am all for shimmer for the eyes this satisfies my needs completely.

Contains 2 brushes: a double-ended sponge applicator and brush applicator. Both of the applicators actually feel nice, which is surprising for me to even look at them. Normally I don't, I just DON'T use applicators that come with the palettes, but these ones feel very good on the eye and pick up good amount of product to work with. I am impressed buy that:)

You can use the eyeshadow wet or dry, but I like to go dry for a day-time look. If you are after deeper intensity in colour, definitely wet the applicators or brushes first.

Fraicheur rosee Lancome

I created a look only using these shades, eyeliner and mascara. It is quite intense day-time look, but it could be yours evening look if you are more a natural makeup type of person.

The colours blend easily together, I just have to say that the lightest pink (no.1) doesn't highlight and is not pigmented as I would like, but the champagne and all other shades are giving very nice colour-pay-off.

Oh, I just love a little bit of sparkle on the eyes:)

The palette is £33.30 here.
Do you like shimmery eyeshadows for daytime looks? Leave the comments down below:)

MAC Pressed pigment in Blonde streak

Everyone loves MAC eyeshadows, but going for their pigments is definitely part of every girl's makeup bag. Well, after me trying their pressed pigment in Blonde streak I feel impressed.

It is rather a colour which you to lightly put in the middle of eye or use it as a highlighter for eyes, so it gives like a glitter on the eyes.

The actual glitter is quite visible and looks big when applied to the brush, so I would definitely recommend just to rather press it either with finger or a brush.

In the product you are getting 3g and on mac website the actual pressed pigments are described like this: "An intensely creamy highlighter offering extreme pearlescence and versatility of finish.  Apply dry for a high shine, or on damp skin for a dramatic wet look. Provides eye-catching sheer-to-moderate buildable coverage and natural dimension finish."

The shade Blonde streak is a light cream champagne colour.

So just to recap everything: Great highlighting shimmer for your nights out or for sparkly days:) And let me just say I love to have sparkly days everyday, so this pigment just works for me:)

You can buy the pigment here. (Price: £17.00)
