Vichy Idealia life serum

I am an absolute lover of serums as they are more concentrated and most of them really deliver the difference in my skin. This Vichy Idealia life serum claims to have clinically proven efficiency on skin exposed to daily excesses like being overstressed, pollution, UV overexposed and unbalanced diet. I certainly have most of the problems mentioned above, so I thought it would be perfect for me to try this out.

Vichy is claiming quite a lot of things about this product and some of them I can confirm, some definitely not. It is claimed that you have instantly more radiant and healthy complexion, which you could definitely see with this product as it has got those light reflecting particles which make the skin looking nicer. Pores should also appear tighter and skin texture should feel refined. I have not see ANY difference in my skin texture or pores at all, well, let me just say that I haven't felt or seen none of the amazing things that should happen to my skin. The scent is quite strong and it just rather feels like too expensive brightening primer.

So you guessed it that my verdict will be me not recommending this product, but you can check some other opinions on boots website here (which I always love to check)

Did you try it?
Did you see any change in the skin?
Have you managed to find your holy grail serum?:)

RealTechniques Miracle complexion sponge

I was just talking to my friend on Sunday how funny it is we change our makeup routines. We start with applying our makeup with fingers, then with foundation brushes, flat kabuki brushes and now the newest hit is sponge. I was a big sceptic and if you would ask me after first use, I hated it. But I converted:)

I have to confess that I haven't tried the famous beauty blender, just the cheaper versions which normally didn't work well, but found the RelTechniques complexion sponge which I absolutely love.

I love the shape with which I can apply my foundation and concealer without cutting any edges. The result is better and easier than with more brushes that I would have to use.

The used sponge on the picture has been abused for few months (I am not playing around with it, I want to see full potential;)) and the little piece is missing because I was really late doing my workout in the gym and was extremely rushing doing my makeup. Otherwise it was holding perfectly fine. I have heard that some people were having troubles while washing it, but I am very satisfied.

This has been my miracle worker for months and all RealTechniques products I have tried, I loved so far. Samantha Chapman seriously knows her stuff.

You can buy the RealTechniques Miracle complexion sponge here for £5.99. (the Boots customers gave 6/6 stars:))

What is your favourite application of foundation?:)

MyChelle Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum

Hyaluronic acid has become one of the most searched ingredients in our skincare products as it has been proven that it makes skin plumped, hydrated and helps with ageing as well. Everyone definitely knows Hydraluron as Caroline Hirons (skincare goddess) mentioned this product as one of the best, but I found another one which to my happiness is more natural.

MyChelle is definitely a brand that is new to me and this is the first product I am trying from them, but as I am trying out more natural options, I thought I might give it a go.

I found MyChelle products in Whole foods, but you can get their products on their website as well here. (they are currently giving 20% off their hero products and this serum is one of them - till 31st of January)

I usually go with 2 pumps, applied before my moisturiser. The texture feels very light, gel like, but when I was using it in the mornings, I felt like it was too much for my skin and foundation didn't sit as well as it usually does, so would recommend it rather for evening skincare routines (anyways our skin can apparently absorb hydration 4 timer better through the night). The scent is very gentle, hardly noticeable which is refreshing for natural product.

I love that it feels light on the skin, but really hydrates and I can apply my other evening treatments without feeling overload and my skin feels fresh, plumped and hydrated in the mornings.

MyChelle has got also starter kit collections where you get more products to try out their cleanser, treatment, moisturiser and more for £15.95. (Hello Beautiful Collection Dry By MyChelle) If you are trying to go more natural with your routine, I would definitely recommend them.

The serum retails for £29.

Have you ever tried MyChelle products? What is your favourite natural skincare brand? Let me know in the comments below:)

Have a wonderful week and I will talk to you soon:)

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette | Review & swatches

I know everyone was talking about this palette ages ago, but to be honest, I wanted to give myself time to really play around with it and see if I like it or not. I was very hesitant if I should get it or not as first of all I have a lot of palettes and second of all, I wasn't sure about how the colours will be great for my complexion.  (luckily I got it from my sister for Christmas, so to quilt there:))

The palette is definitely beautiful, going more into pinky tones, which are rather not your everyday choice. I personally enjoy most of the colours as you are having mattes, shimmers and pearly finishes mixed in, which makes it versatile. The most disappointing colour for me was Dust as it is extremely chalky, there is a lot of fallout and even when freshly new, it just look like a trouble maker. So staying away from Dust if you can:)

Otherwise, colours are gorgeous, I absolutely adore the mattes: Strange, Limit, Nooner.
I prefer lighter colours for everyday use, so I will rarely touch Factory, Darkside and Blackheart, but they are gorgeous colours to have in your collection.

If I should say overall judgement: If you are not an owner of Naked palette, I don't think I would recommend to start with this one, Naked1 and Naked2 palette are more everyday makeup friendly (I am planning to do swatches and reviews of those as well), but if you own the others, it is gorgeous palette to own to create different looks and make your daily makeup more fun without going with too much colour (as most of us still love our neutrals anyway).

You can get Naked3 palette in Debenhams and it retails for £37.

Do you own Naked3 palette or any Naked palette? Which one is your favourite?:)

Thank you so much for reading and I will talk to you later.

Bourjois Java rice powder

As you could have noticed, I usually tend to write about products that I like and that are worth it for me to mention them. This time I am going to be talking about a product that has become my stable and I hope never leaves my makeup bag.

The talk is about Borjois Java rice powder. It is a loose powder that gives absolutely beautifully glow to the skin. I am normally the biggest fan of pressed powders as they are much easier to use, but I think I found my ultimate powder as it give smoothness, silkiness to the skin while I am having this amazing glow. I have constantly people telling me and asking me what I am using as even on the days when I don't feel best or had a little sleep time, the glow is there.

As Bourjois is celebrating their 150th birthday, they reinvented this cult classic from 1879.

How I use it: I put a little bit of the powder to the lid and apply it with MAC 137 brush. It is a flat brush so it picks up the product well, but because it is not dense, it lightly and evenly distributes it as well.

Recommended to: People who want illumination without looking greasy.

The last this I want to mention is the scent that is very light, but somehow feels very classic and gentle.

You can get Bourjois products in Boots and this powder retails for £9.99.

I know Bourjois is loved by many, so if you have tried, which are your favourites from Bourjois?:)

Thank you for reading and talk to you soon:)
