Aliexpress nákupy #1 - christmas feeling

Počas mojich pracovných skúseností v kozmetickom priemysle a takisto počas rokov nakupovania som prišla na jednu vec. Nie vždy to čo je drahšie je lepšie. Pri nákupoch mám niektoré veci, za ktoré si rada priplatím, pri niektorých mám určenú cenu, za ktorú som ochotná si ich zakúpiť. A určite ako sme už väčšina z nás mala skúsenosť, je možné dostať ten istý tovar (úplne totožný) za rôzne ceny.

Preto som sa stala celkom závislou od Aliexpresu. V Anglicku som obľubovala eBay a Aliexpress funguje na podobnom princípe, ale kupujete priamo z Ázie, ceny sú väčšinou podobné z eBayom alebo niekedy ešte lepšie.

Hodiny trávim vyhľadávaním nových nápadíkov pre byt, kozmetiku, diár či mobil, takže by som rada začala robiť Aliexpress vychytávky. Dúfam, že Vás budem v dobrom inšpirovať:) (disclaimer: za vašu zväčšenú mieru nákupov v dôsledku týchto príspevkov neberiem na seba žiadnu zodpovednosť:))

Keďže doprava z Ázie trvá minimálne 2-3 týždne, dnes začíname už s Vianocami a ako si celkový advent môžete lepšie vychutnať:) (PS: ak by ste mali záujem o podrobnejší príspevok ako nakupovať z Aliexpressu, neváhajte a píšte si...)

1. Vianočné svetlá (4.40-4.71€ tu) - Vianoce nemôžu byť úplné bez vianočných svetiel, ale veľa krát keď chcete mať krásne vyzdobený dom alebo byt, svetlá sa vyšplhajú na niekoľko desiatok eur. Tu máte 10 metrov vodeodolných svetielok, pričom si môžete vybrať farbu, ktorá sa k Vašemu dekóru hodí najlepšie. (mne osobne sa veľmi páči warm white, ktorý je teplou verziou bielej farby)

2. Santa Klausové oblečenie na Štedrovečerný príbor (2.55€ tu) - ak máte radi nejaké tie prvky Santa Klausa aj keď oslavujeme u nás Ježiška, veľmi milým môže byť oblečenie pre Vás príbor počas Štedrej večere. PS: a deti sa určite tiež potešia:)

3. Adventný kalendár (57.26€ tu) - keď ste pozreli na tú sumu, asi si myslíte, že mi preskočilo. Toto je jedna z vecí, ktorú by som chcela vlastniť a aj by som priplatila. Posledné roky ako som cez Vianoce chodila do Selfridges v Londýne, vždy tam mali jedinečné drevené adventné kalendáre, podobné tomuto. Suma zaň verím, že bola mnohonásobne vyššia. Keď si ho jedného dňa kúpim, verím, že to bude kúsok, ktorý sa bude používať desaťročia a dediť:) a je neskutočne nádhernýýýý....

4. Vianočný hrnček (14.81€ tu) - pre mnohých asi dosť premrštená cena za hrnček ale ako veľký milovník hrnčekov, za Vianočný hrnček si viem priplatiť. Asi nie pravý Starbucksový, ale vyzerá chutne s čistými líniami a aby tam už bola urobená horúca čokoláda so šľahačkou, marshmallows.....

5. Sklenené jabĺčko na sviečku (6.39-8.30€ tu) - keď som uvidela tento kúsok, ihneď som sa zamilovala. Jedinečnosť línií, precíznosť a krása v jednom. Svetlo sviečky je vždy pekné, ale v tomto jedinečnom jabĺčku krásne vynikne a môžete ho používať aj počas celého roka. 

Veľa dobrého Vianočného nakupovania prajem a ak aj u Vás (ako u nás v Trnave) zavítali Vianočné trhy, prajem virtuálne na zdravie s vareným vínkom.

YEAR 2013

It was New Years eve and somehow I felt like it was difficult for me to remember what I experienced, when and how this year was amazing.

I would like to share with you some of the highlights, big changes and great moments that I had in 2013:)

In January my fiancé Richard and I visited our friends in Netherlands for first time and we celebrated the New Years Eve on the bridge of Rotterdam, had an amazing time partying, drinking, discovering Rotterdam and cycling in the crazy windy cold weather:)

In May I went for few days to Rotterdam again, this time to celebrate my mum's 65th birthday. We went for 4 days which was filled with sighseeing, seeing Keukenhof (an amazing exhibition of flowers - tulips mostly), visiting Amsterdam. The weather was gorgeous and you just have to see the exhibition. I just loved it. (More pictures from that trip in the this blogpost.)

In June I went to work part-time as I wanted to see how it would work for me. More time, well I hoped there would be more of it, but somehow even more time can be spent and filled with a lot of things to do. I had more time to spend with my friends and family, but not having as much of a salary did really influence me. When you have more time, you have more things to spend your money on, so I needed a change again. In November I went back to full-time.

In the end of June we went for holidays to Canary Islands which was my first ever official holiday I paid for (finally a grown-up?). It was amazing, I love spending time with my fiancé. We went for a lot of walks, we swam a lot, sunbathed a little and most importantly on 24th of June we got engaged. We were sitting on a bench, looking on the sunset on the sea and it happened. We went to a restaurant by the sea and drank some champagne to celebrate. Perfect evening.

In August we had friends coming over for few days (Monika & Petko), which was very refreshing and nice. We did go to park, doing some shopping, market, chatting, getting drunk (well, oh mostly me as obviously I can't manage more than one glass of wine...) and just enjoying our company.

In October we went to Slovakia (I went for 3 weeks, Richard-my fiancé went for 1 I believe.). Normally I don't really miss Slovakia, but with this visit I really enjoyed it. We visited our family, friends, we personally invited people to our wedding. I had quite a bit of time for myself, great time helping my mum in garden (I didn't help that much, because even if it doesn't look like a lot of work, you need to be trained and it looks like my mum had more strength than I did), catching up on my favourite tv-shows. Oh, and we went to High Tatras and I got my wisdom tooth taken out.

Another great visit were our other friends (Mariannka & Dennis) who came just in the beginning of December. The atmosphere was all Christmassy and luckily we have still  time (even when working full-time then) to spend together. We went to Oxford street, a lot of shopping in Westfield, they did some sighseeing, we went to Winter wonderland and went to have traditional English breakfast (when I have Eggs benedict for first time).

The last visit in the Year we had my future-in-laws. The stayed with us from 20 till 27th of December. It was perfect. We had great time together, they are funny people to be around. We laughed a lot, drank a lot (of course) and had an amazing Christmas. We watched a lot of traditional Slovak fairytales and we even went for Boxing day shopping:)

In Slovak language YOU can be used in two ways. In Formal way (you normally use this with authorities, people older than you) it is used as YOU (in plural). In Informal way used as singular (used with friends, people your age). Well, anyways, it is normally the authority or older person who can allow you to use singular which is a great deal. So, long story short, my future-in-laws allowed me to use singular "you" with them.

And that's about it. Year of 2013 was a nice one, but I am so excited what 2014 will bring:)

(I applied these with blending brush in MAC 217 - you don't need to be perfect, just making sure you have bright eye, darker in the crease creating a shadow;) )

The time of the red nail manicures for Christmas is slowly here and as much as I love a good red manicure, with my weak nails sometimes I just have to go with a natural nailpolish as other just chip, break in a day or 2. 

I already mentioned my favourite Sensationail gel manicure and I just bought an extra colour in Juicy Sangria which is perfect red and I have it now for 5th day and my nails are looking amazing (obviously I love to brag about myself...:))

Christmas at Oxford street

One of the most amazing things about X-mas are the lights, trees and christmas special windows. I absolutely love this Year's Selfridges Christmas window, it might be might favourite:) So if you didn't have a chance to see it, here are some pictures:

You might think it is too early to enjoy Christmas atmosphere, but I truly love it too much:)
