My favourite spring nail polishes

I am sorry I was a little quiet for a little, but that sudden spring moment we are having I just had to enjoy before I can talk about all the beauty treatments, colours and everything we need to have for spring. I love spring. Warmer sun, fresh air, flowers blooming and trees being green. As I am looking outside, the weather is with me as it is sunny and I am excited about applying brighter, funnier and happier nail polishes. I have quite few favourites for spring, so let's just jump into it:)

If you force me to choose, I would always go for Burjois Adora-bleu as the colour is to die for, the consistency and the brush are perfect and you need only one coat. Easy.

It started to feel like autumn, so my makeup went into darker shades and definitely more plumy and berry. My favourite blusher is Mac plum foolery, which doesn't show as extreme on cheeks, I would be brave enough to claim that you can work on building it up and it never looks like you are wearing too much. 

A little bit of shimmer makes it nice and glowy on cheeks, so if you don't use highlighter, you can definitely skip it while wearing this. 

If you would tell me few years back that I would willingly wear a dark lipstick, I wouldn't believe you. But somehow these past 2 years I have really enjoyed it. Apply a little something on the eyes and darker lip colour. 

I am sure I am loving it now as I got a lot of compliments wearing it, but this just really makes fun from makeup, changing it up and having different looks. 

My favourites has been Mac rebel and Topshop trigger.

If you are after a cheap body lotion, I would highly recommend this Garnier body lotion. Smells good and is easily absorbed. The only thing I am not the biggest fan of is the packaging, making it complicated with getting the product out...and the opening lid...oh, no...

I need a good hydrating eye cream all year around and most of them just feel too greasy. My undereye area just can't handle that so after I found this Origins eye cream, I was a very happy bunny. Feels good, hydrates, leaves no residue, smells like cucumbers and has no harsh ingredients.

It is quite challenging for me to explain how this setting spray really changes my makeup, but somehow my makeup looks fresh, literally after whole day at work, I don't have to worry about looking crap (even if I can feel that;)) so definitely recommend this big time.

My hair was having that phase when it just didn't want to perform. The same thing happened year ago and after I went for Lush haircare routine, it went back to normal. So I am back to Lush routine as you could find out from this and I just forgot how much I love this conditioner. Light, with specific scent which I became to love and hydrating benefits, it is just my love. And perfect for travel.

A treat this month was this Jo Malone candle and it really makes whole apartment smell divine. So happy I got this, but I am really bad in burning it so it doesn't do a hole. Oh well. 

Easiest breakfast that really makes me happy. Red berries porridge, normally I put cinnamon, golden syrup and some fruits on the top. It fills me up and is healthy.

Fall NOTD: No7 Totally Teal & No7 Paradise Love

Another fall NOTD, going a little different direction with green. Not the first choice for most people, but definitely give it a try:) I really like the change.

 I think the dark green (No7 Totally teal) would look great with any skin tone from lighter like  mine to darker to rather looking more vibrant on their pretty nails:)

NOTD: Sensationail Evening Sand & New No7 Moonlit Shadow

I have been wearing very gentle, romantic manicure these days and I really like it. I could even say that I consider this manicure for my wedding....just considering though...I change my mind a lot:)

I have made my Sensationail manicure which is a gel manicure lasting unbelievable 2 weeks. And that is the reason why I love it. My nails are not strong. Whatever supplements I take it looks like the rest of the body takes all the goods and nothing is left for my nails.

So my weak nails are very likely to break. All the time. On anything. And that's why gel manicure has been a life saver. It makes my nails stronger and they can actually grow without breaking all the time giving me the hope of beautiful nails.

MOTW:No7 Glycolic Peel Kit

I love my exfoliators, exfoliating masks and always wanted to try glycolic peel. I have heard that No7 used to do a great one in the past and few weeks ago they brought a new glycolic peel kit out.

What is a glycolic peel?

Glycolic peel is a way to renew the skin's surface by sweeping away the dull, dead skin cells and helping with uneven skintone to bring brighter, smoother and more youthful skin. 

Most people use it if they are trying to treat ageing, but I am going for it to help my discoloration. 

There are 3 steps.

1st is the peel. You apply it to the cotton pad and apply from forehead, movie to cheeks, nose and chin. Leave it for 10 minutes and remove.

Apply Post peel neutralizer on to the cotton pad and apply several times all over treated areas.
Rinse after with cool water.

Step number 3. Apply Calming recovery balm.

To be honest, I didn't think it is this easy. The main thing you have to keep in mind, that the first step: the actual peel can't be on the skin more than 10 minutes as it would irritate the skin.

After using this peel my skin was smooth, but I didn't feel anything happening while I was having the peel on my skin. No tingling feeling, nothing. Sometimes with my exfoliation masks I can feel that the exfoliation is happening. This could be taken as a bad or a good thing.

 If you like to feel that something is happening, don't go for this peel. If you on the other hand want something gentle, I would definitely recommend.

Skin was definitely changed- it looked healthier and more radiant. Even my colleague said so.

From one package you can do 8 peels, as you should do a peel a week, it should last 8 weeks. The price is £24.95:)

NOTW: No7 Hot Lava

I was the biggest fan of OPI nail envy, but I thought why not try something different and this Sally Hansen Advanced hard as nails is really nice. Makes a nice base.

Summer needs a brighter nail colour, that's for sure:) Sometimes though colours can be quite too much, that's why this Hot lava from No7 nailpolish really caught my eye. It is nice coral, but nothing too orangey:)

I love the applicators on No7 nailpolishes, application is super easy, their brushes really remind me of Dior nailpolish brushes. And after they reformulated them, the staying power is great. Definitely my favourite nail polishes- and the price, always on 3for2 or on the voucher:)

The Gel-look chine nailpolishes were launched only 1-2 months ago as the gel-like nailpolishes are quite a hit now. Personally I don't see much difference between their regular topcoat and this one (probably just consistency is much thicker). Their regular topcoat is great and they both leave nails nice and shiny.

I absolutely loved the trip with mum, sister and nephew. Netherlands is beautiful place to visit and definitely the flower exhibition (the main reason why we went) was exceptional:)

Neuveriteľne som si užila výlet s maminou, sestrou a synovcom. Holandsko je nádherné miesto na cestovanie a určite kvetinová exibícia (hlavný dôvod prečo sme tam išli) bola výnimočná:)
